Williams, Joan COLONIE Joan Williams, 60, of Colonie, passed away on October 6, 2010 at her residence. She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Richard and Helen Williams. Joan was a graduate of SUNY Albany with a degree in political science. She was a supervisor with the NYS Division of Youth for 31 years. Joan supported many charitable causes, including cancer research and veterans organizations. She will be remembered as a loving and kind woman. She is the beloved aunt of Laura Williams, Rhonda Williams, Douglas (Stephanie) Williams, Brianna Walsh, Maren Walsh, Alexandra Williams and Cody Williams. Dear family friend of Mary Dupree.
