Joan Sweeney Todd, 55, of 205 Saluda Drive, Apt #4, Piedmont, S.C., died Sunday, March 25, 2007, in Clinton, S.C. Survivors: daughters, Erickia (Kwame) Channell of Greenville, Jocelyn Sweeney and Lavonda Sweeney, both of Piedmont, and Jalonda Sweeney of Atlanta, Ga.; sisters, Janice (Steven) Merritt of Greenville and Sharon (Milton) Chappell of Greer, S.C.; brothers, William Charles Makins and J.D. (Ladonna) Spears, both of Greenville; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services: 4 p.m. Friday at Nicholtown Missionary Baptist Church. Burial: Private.
