JOAN SELLERSAsheville - Joan Sellers, 63, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2013 after a brief battle with cancer. She was born on December 2, 1949 the daughter of Henry and Myrtle Sellers. She is survived by her daughter, Tara Lucas,her son-in-law, Piankhy, and her grandchildren Jenna, Sabrina, and Piankhy II (Bo) of Raleigh. She also leaves behind five brothers, their wives and many nieces and nephews.She was a very loving mother and grandmother. She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed collecting cookbooks and spending time with her grandchildren.A brief memorial service will be held on Friday, 2 p.m. at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
