JOAN LORRAINE LANE VALPARAISO, IN Joan Lorraine Lane, age 94, of Valparaiso, passed away Monday, February 2, 2015 in Valparaiso, IN. She was born the daughter of John and Tillie Murphy on May 15, 1920 in Milwaukee, WI. Joan was an elementary school teacher in Portage for 22 years and was a member of the F.U.M.C. in Valparaiso and the Women's Club in Valparaiso. She is survived by children: Gene (Cindy Wang) Lane and Dianne (John) Henderson all of Valparaiso; one sister: Barbara Gramlick of Valparaiso; three grandchildren: Chelsea (Brian) Hagan, Bree (Ty) Sanderson, Gavin Henderson and five great-grandchildren. Joan is preceded in death by her parents and husband Frank B. Lane. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso, IN with Rev. Deeter officiating.
