LEE Joan Lee of Orange Park FL departed this life and went to Heaven on Jan 19, 2012. Joan was born on Feb. 12, 1949 in Louisville KY to the late Everett and Lila Chase. She is survived by Earl Lee her Husband of 43 years and two children Cindy Brown and Michael Lee, 5 Grandchildren Ashley Lee, Breyonna Lee, Isaiah Brown, Carlie Lee and Abigail Lee and one Great grandchild Nicholas Gibson Jr. Four sisters Cheryl Bowling, Janie Ahlhaus, Lila Buchenberger, Patricia Schnurr and two brothers John Chase and Louis Chase. Joan worked for the L&N railroad in Louisville KY from 1967 to 1980 then transferred to Jacksonville with the Seaboard Coastline then left the railroad with18 years of service in 1985 to be a stay at home Mom. Joan started work at the Navy Hospital at NAS Jax in 1989 and retired from the Navy Drug Lab in 2010 with 20 years Federal Service. Joan was a very loving person dedicating her life to caring for others. She was also a Hospice volunteer. There will be a memorial service at St. Catherine's Catholic Church located at 1649 Kingsley Avenue in Orange Park on Thursday Jan 26 at 7:00 PM.
