NEW HAVEN - Joan Lesiak Williams of 166 Lexington Ave., New Haven died Saturday, July 12, 2008, in the Hospital of St. Raphael. She is the wife of Ronald A. Williams, Sr. Joan was born in Meriden August 21, 1934 a daughter of the late Francis and Sophie Shemet Lesiak, and was a graduate of St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse at the Hospital of St. Raphael for more than 20 years and was a nurse at Teletrack for ten years before retiring. Joan was a parishioner at St. Rose of Lima Church for 49 years. She is the mother of Maureen R. Williams, Karen J. (David) MacDougall, John F. (Sheila Demetro) Williams, Ronald A. Williams Jr., and Sister of Frank A. (Karen) Lesiak. She is also survived by nine grandchildren. Funeral from the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc., 11 Wooster Place Thursday at 8:45 a.m. Mass of Christian burial in St. Francis Church at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Fr.
