Joan-L. Clark, spouse of Ronald-V. Clark, daughter of Donald and Beatrice-L, mother of Ronda, Karen, Maryellen, Mary, Pamela and Peter, died on October 26, 2010. Please consult the obituary here:
->Joan L Clark entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 26, 2010. She was predeceased by her parents, Donald C. and Beatrice L. Steadman; her sisters, Gloria Smith and Cecilia Miller; and a special son-in-law, Thomas E. Young. She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald V. Clark; stepmother, Elizabeth Steadman; sisters, Ann Abbott and Nancy J. LaBarr; children, Peter Neferis, Pamela Hemenway, Mary Neferis, Maryellen Palmatier, Karen Fowler, Ronda Woodford; grandchildren, Mark and Bret Hemenway, Bradley, Zachary and Nicholas Neferis, Michael Williams, Nathaniel Fowler, Charise Terboss, Tommy Young; great-grandchildren, Celia Hemenway, Robert, Trishelle and Davian Terboss; and several nieces and nephews. Joan graduated from Binghamton Central High School and then went to work at Cornell University and then to Hinman, Howard, and Kattell for 30 years. Joan loved gardening, bird watching, reading, and gift giving and most of all spending time with her family. She was a kind, caring and most generous woman who will be dearly missed by all who knew her. A Funeral Service will be held 5:00 p.m. Saturday at The Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 137 Robinson Street, Binghamton, NY. Entombment will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the Shea Funeral Home Saturday from 2 - 5 p.m. time of the service.
