ST. LOUIS, Mo. Joan K. Wamser Lane, age 62, passed away on November 11, 2005 at Barnes West Hospital in St. Louis. She was surrounded by her loving family and died following a brave battle with breast cancer. She was born on May 1, 1943 and was the dedicated daughter of Audrey and the late John C. Wamser of St. Louis. She was the beloved wife of Benny Lane of Alton, Ill.; the loving mother of Colleen (Joe) Bonacci of Glenmont, N.Y., Tim Power of Winston-Salem, N.C. and Michele (Henry) Onians of Alpharetta, Ga. She was also the loving sister of Michael (Diane) Wamser of St. Louis and the devoted grandmother of Michael, Kathleen and Matthew Bonacci of Glenmont and Hannah Onians of Ga.; a wonderful aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend to so many. Joan's family wants to extend their thanks to the many friends and family members who have offered tremendous support throughout this most difficult time.
