THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Joan Russell Hawkins, 71, entered into rest July 12, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. today, Sunday, July 14, 2013, in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Butch Baston officiating. Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3:00 p.m., Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home. Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
