BROWN Joan E. Brown, age 72, of Milford and St. Augustine, Fla., beloved wife of Ernest C. Brown, died on Tuesday, December 30, 2003. Mrs. Brown was born in Stratford on March 16, 1931, to the late Joseph and Mary Chidella Cuzio, and was a Milford resident for 44 years. Mrs. Brown was a graduate of Stratford High School, class of 1949. Survivors in addition to her husband, Ernest; include a son, Donald J. Brown and his wife, Beatrice, of Milford; a daughter, Marie Ribando and her husband, Joseph, of Valley Stream, Long Island, N.Y.; a grandson, Christopher Joseph (CJ) Brown of Milford; and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Saturday, at 10 a.m. in St. Gabriel Church with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford.
