Obituary of Joan Davis


Davis, Joan GREENVILLE Joan Davis, 72, of Greenville, N.Y., passed away at her home on November 9, 2008. She was born in Glens Falls, N.Y. on February 9, 1936, daughter of the late Francis and Marion (Champaigne) Pelletier. Joan had retired after working for the Albany County Family Court for several years. She was involv-ed in several organizations and charities and had attended the Onesquethaw Reformed Church. She loved working in her flower garden and deeply loved her family. Surviving are her husband, Roger Davis; the children, Susan Deville (Don) of Florida, John Parker (Shelley) of Corinth, Raymond Dalton (Millie) of Clarks-ville, Sheryl Antalek (Bill) of Albany, Dale Curless of Ravena, Jeff Davis (Kathy) of Greenville, Cindy Yocum (David) of Georgia, Gary Davis (Cindy) of Schenectady, 25 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren also a brother, Robert Benack (Cynthia) of Colonie. She was predeceased by two sons, Brian Dalton and Randy Davis; a brother, Michael Pelletier and two sisters, Fay Burton and Carol Pelletier. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 15 at 2 p.m. at the Onesquethaw Reformed Church on Albany County Rte. 301. Those who desire may contribute in her memory to the Community Hospice of Columbia/ Greene or to St. Jude Children's Hospital. Arrangements by the Cunningham Funeral Home, Greenville, N.Y.
