NEW ALBANY -- Joan Dalton Smith, 76, formerly of Louisville, died Saturday, March 20, 2004, at Floyd Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Listowel, County Kerry, Ireland, and a member of St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church in Louisville. Survivors include her husband, James E. Smith; a son, Stephen F. Smith of Boston, MA; a brother, Rev. John A. Dalton; and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral Mass will be at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church, 1104 S. 6th St., Louisville, with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Louisville. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Monday at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd., Louisville.
