Roanoke, AL - Joan C. Carter, 70, of Roanoke, AL, died Saturday, Apr. 16, 2005. Services will be 2pm, Tuesday, Apr. 19, 2005 at Smith Memory Chapel. Interment will be in Sims Cemetery. Survivors include husband Robert T. (R.T.) Carter, of Roanoke; daughter Karen Hand, of Roanoke; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Smith Funeral Home, Winder, has charge of arrangements.
