BROWN - Joan Bugg. A Memorial Service was held at the Brown Chapel, AME Church in Selma, AL, February 4, 2004 for Joan Bugg Brown, formerly of Garfield, NJ. Joan was the daughter of the late Otis and Johnnie Mae Bugg, also of Garfield, NJ. For the past nine years, she resided in Cottonwood, AL with her husband Jesse Brown. Surviving are her sisters Mildred Fleming of Shaker Heights, OH, Doris Moses of West Orange, NJ, Barbara Gross of Forestville, MD and Frank Elam of Absecon, NJ and a host of relatives and friends.
