Joan M. Brown, 78, died Nov. 26, 2006, at Sebastian River Medical Center. She was born in Reading, Pa., and lived in Barefoot Bay since 1987, coming from Shilington, Pa. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Mid-Atlantic Club and the German Heritage Club, both in Barefoot Bay. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, Barefoot Bay. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Howard E. Brown of Barefoot Bay; and son, John H. Brown of Sebastian. SERVICES: A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Dec. 4 at Concordia Lutheran Church with the Rev. Grant Kilps officiating. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Sebastian Cemetery. Arrangements are by Strunk Funeral Home, Sebastian.
