JOAN BARCLAY November 10, 1948 -- July 12, 2009 With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Joan after a courageous battle with cancer. She died peacefully at her home surrounded by her beloved family. Joan was the dearly loved wife of Stanley for 36 years, cherished mother of Michael (Salem) and Andrea, loving daughter of Clifford and Vera Healey, sister of George (Phyllis) Healey and devoted niece of Kay (George) Ferguson. She will also be missed by her canine companions, Teaghan and Colby. Joan will hold a special place in the hearts of all who knew her. The family extends their gratitude to Joan's nurse, Kathy and Dr. Patterson for the care provided through Saint Elizabeth Health Care. Friends will be received at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME 166 Main Street N.
