<!-- FH = HILLSBORO MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME -->BRENNAN, Joan, 60 of Valrico, passed away on May 18, 2013. She was born in Newport, R.I. on September 30, 1952. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Brennan and father, Walter Hussey. She is survived by her mother, Mildred Hussey; brothers, Peter (Nancy) Hussey, Mark (Lisa) Hussey; sisters, Nancy (RL) Qualls, Jane (Kevin) McDonald; and many nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of St. Catherine's Academy and Murray State University. Joan's adventurous spirit took her to many beautiful locations around the world and she found serenity working in her garden. She was a strong, independent and courageous woman who will be greatly missed. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 12:30p.m. June 8, 2013 St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Seffner, Fla. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church Feed the Needy Program, P.O. Box 1218 Seffner, FL 33583 where Joan generously volunteered each week for many years.
