ADAMS, Joan - It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Joan Adams on October 24, 2014 at Providence Healthcare Centre. Joan was predeceased by her husband Coben (Coby) and will be greatly missed by her children Phillip (Lynda), Stephen (Valerie), Timothy (Nancy), Jo-Anne (John Smith), Richard (Carolyn) and Julie and by her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Joan will also be missed by her card-playing friends at Birkdale Community Centre. Memorial Visitation will be held at Paul O'Connor Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 28th from 10 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Providence Healthcare Centre.
