Jo Anne Montgomery Jones The glorious gates of heaven opened up on Friday, February 12, 2009, to welcome Jo Anne Jones. Her faith, family, and friends defined her life and served as her testimony. One of her greatest passions was the eighteen years she served and blessed countless lives as Activity Director of the Dade County Nursing Home. Left to miss her but celebrate her life is her husband of 59 years Laverne Jones; four daughters, Janna Adams and husband Charles, Sonna Jones, Tonia East and husband Ron, and Jackie Mountcastle. Also, the joys of her life, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Zach Adams and wife Angelin, their sons Kaelin and Kyler Adams, Molly Jo Adams, Isaac and Rennie East. Special friends include Jill Hamm and Debbie Jacobson and "The Golden Girls", Dixie Farmer, Juanita Killingsworth, Lucille Vandergrift Wilma Lou Wycuff; and a host of relatives and friends throughout Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; and her great-grandchild Kierce Adams. A private family graveside service will be held at White Chapel Cemetery. A resurrection celebration of her life will be held on February 21, 2009, at 11 a.m., at Faith Fellowship, Greenfield. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Willard Cutting Edge Band, with which Jo Anne spent many happy years watching four of her grandchildren perform.
