Funeral service for Mr. Jimmy R. Carter, 72, will be Saturday at 12:00 pm at Mount Olive Baptist Church, Harpersville, AL. Burial will be at Coosa Valley Baptist Church Cemetery, Vincent. Mr. Carter died March 8, 2013 at his residence, Vincent. He is survived by a loving wife: Ada L. Carter of Vincent; four children, Jimmy Carter, Jr. of Valley, CA; James W. Carter of Upper Marlboro, MD; Rev. Walter E. Lawson of Alexandria, LA; and Andrea Lawson of Vincent; eight siblings: Mary J. McGraw of Vincent; Pauline McGinnis of Harpersville; Ernest Carter of Rowlett, TX; Freddie Carter of Lathrop, CA; Rev. Clarence Carter, Charles Carter, Robert Carter all of Vincent; and Jerry Carter of Childersburg; and a host of other relatives, church family and friends.
