Jimmy Lee Jones, 73, of West Frankfort passed away at 9:42 p.m. at the Westside Care Center in West Frankfort. He was born April 17, 1935 in Galatia, Il. to Leeman Jones and Helen (Hicks) Jones. Survivors include a son, Edward Jones of Beloit, Wisc.; grandson, Connor Jones; two sisters, Winnie Kinison and Brenda West both of West Frankfort; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Carol, and 1 brother Elbert Jones. He was of the Catholic faith, served in the U.S. Army and a was a insurance representative for many years. There will be no visitation or funeral service. It was his wish to be cremated. Parker - Reedy Funeral Home in West Frankfort is in charge of arrangements.
