Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. EST Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, Columbus, GA with Rev. Jimmy Williams, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Community Cemetery, Phenix City, AL. Visitation is today from 1 - 8 p.m. EST according to Taylor Funeral Home, Inc. Mr. Johnson was born February 14, 1946 in Hatchechubbee, AL to the late Julius Johnson and the late Rebecca Thomas Johnson. He was a member of Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Annie Johnson of Phenix City, AL; three daughters, Annie W. Johnson of Miami, FL; Helen Johnson of Columbus, GA and Patica Johnson of Phenix City, AL; one son, Eddie Johnson of Phenix City, AL; three sisters, Shirley (Roger) Williams of Phenix City, AL; Emma (Frank) Alfred of Seale, AL and Precious Harris of Hanceville, AL; five brothers, Walton Johnson and Henry (Doris) Johnson both of Atlanta, GA; Tracey (Yvonnie) Johnson of Hatchechubbee, AL; Jessie Johnson, Archie Johnson, Eddie (Ida) Johnson all of Fort Myers, FL; 11 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
