MILLER, JIMMIE LEE, 77, of Louisville, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother. A native of Sonora, KY, he was a retired employee of Dupont Chemical where he worked for 33 years and a member of Highview Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Ivy; mother, Mary Manion; brother, Bernard Miller; and brother-in-law, Bill Cruse. Survivors include his wife, the former June Overfelt; daughters, Judy Cole (Gary), and Patty Miller; grandchildren, Jason Welch, Megan Shaver (Josh) and Ashley Rose (Danny); sisters, Evelyn Cruse, Virginia Ramsey (Ronald) and Dorothy Castro (Tom); and his sister-in-law, Helen Miller. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Beth Haven Cemetery. Visitation will be held noon -8 p.m. Thursday and after 11 a.m. Friday.
