Jewell Grace Gibbs, 71, formerly of Louisville, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2003, at Indian Creek Nursing Home in Corydon, IN. She was the former Jewell Carver, formerly of Nashville, TN, and a member of the Pentecostal faith. She is survived by a son, Kenneth Hudgins Sr.; five sisters, Dorothy Fuller, Catherine Flatt, Jo Ann Goodwin, Frances Brown and Betty Olive; a brother, Richard Carver; three grandchildren, K.C. Jr., Richard and Christopher Hudgins; and two great-grandchildren, Noah Joseph Hudgins and Corbin James Hudgins. Her funeral will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Arch L. Heady & Son-Okolona, with burial in Penn Run Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. Tuesday.
