Jewel White, spouse of Ralph White, daughter of Clarence and Edith, died on May 8, 1922.
WHITE, Jewel May (nee New) May 8, 1922 ~ February 26, 2007 Jewel was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and peacefully passed away in the early hours of Monday morning. Jewel was a loving and devoted wife and mother, whose kind and gentle sprit will be missed by all who knew her. Jewel is survived by her loving family, four sons: Clayton (Jeannette), David (Debbie), Rod (Cathy) and Norm (Dianne); one daughter, Joan (Gerald); nine grandchildren: Dallas, Lisa, Dean, Karl, Anthony, Ryan, Tara, Bonny-Lee and David Jr.; three great-grandchildren: Kris, Nicola and Kaidan; son-in-law, Marvin; two brothers: Gordon (Thelma) and Jim (Sheila); sister, Eva; three sisters-in-law: Gladys, Ruth and Grace; as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of fifty years, Ralph; two children: Raymond and Norma; her parents, Clarence and Edith; three brothers: Allen, John and Leonard and two sisters: Edna and Hilda. The family expresses their sincere gratitude, appreciation and heartfelt thanks, to the nurses and staff of Kensington Shepherd's Care for their loving care, compassion and kindness. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Church, 10127 - 145 Street on Friday, March 02, 2007 at 11:00 a.m., Interment to follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
