AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Jessie Mae Simpson 85, wife of the late Mr. R.C. Simpson died Sunday March 23, 2008 at her residence. Funeral services will be 11AM Tuesday March 25, 2008 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Road Chapel with Rev. Greg Bentley officiating. Interment will follow in West View Cemetery. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Survivors include daughters Ora "Lucy" Chavous, Josephine Maroney and Debbie Simpson Zabawa; sons Charles "Teddy" Ard and Cleve "Jimmy" Ard; sisters Elsie Mills , Doris McCraw, Virginia Gay and Donna Murray; brothers Brandford Thompson and Albert "Skeet" Thompson; granddaughter Michelle Grantz Young along with several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
