Mrs. Jessie Faye Johnson, 92, Boaz, died Sunday, April 12, 2009, at Shepherd's Cove.Services will be at 2 p.m. today at McRae Chapel. Bro. Darryl Cox and Bro. Ryan Bristow officiating with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home, Boaz, is in charge of arrangements.Mrs. Johnson was born in Etowah County on Feb. 16, 1917, to Lee and Suzanne E. Washburn Galloway. She was a homemaker.Mrs. Johnson is survived by her son, Dennis Johnson, Boaz; son-in-law, Ronald Lee, Boaz; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and brother and sister-in-law, R.L. and Sue Galloway, Gadsden.Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Johnson; son, Rayburn Johnson; and daughter, Joyce Lee.Pallbearers were Donald Walker, Elmus Humphrey, Douglas Hum-phrey, Kevin Nicholson, Michael Johnson and Aaron Johnson Jr.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Hospice of Marshall County.
