SMITH, Mr. Jesse James, a former resident of Montgomery, AL, expired in Washington, DC on April 25, 2001. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 3, 2001 at 1pm from Bethlehem CMC Church, Prattville, AL with Rev. Shirley Cobb officiating. Burial will be in Deramus Cemetery, with Ross-Clayton Funeral Home directing. He is survived by; two children, Jessica Smith, Montgomery and Kelvin Daw son, Washington, DC; three sisters, Susie Smith, Washington, DC, Annie Smith, Atlanta, GA and Mary Dean Leslie, Phoenix, AZ; one loving gran dson, Ronald Edwin Davis II, Montgo mery; two brothers, Charles Smith (Rita), Chicago, IL and Roosevelt Smith (GiGi), Oxon Hill, MD; mother-in-law, Corine Dunaway, Montgomery, AL; sister-in-law, Dolores Dunaway; a devoted ex-wife, Deborah Smith, both of Montgomery and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
