<!-- FH = West Funeral Home -->Jerry WayneAndersonBarnardsville - Jerry Wayne Anderson, age 64, of 289 Paint Fork Rd., died Wednesday, August 29, 2012.Mr. Anderson was born June 26, 1948, in Buncombe County where he had lived all of his life. He formerly worked at Biltmore Dairy and Pet Dairy. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Jerry was very devoted to his mother. He was a son of Jettie Lee Harwood Anderson of Barnardsville and the late William D. Anderson. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Gerald D. Anderson.Surviving in addition to his mother are his sister, Eloise Rice of Weaverville; brothers, William G. "Andy" Anderson and wife Cynthia and Henry S. "Hank" Anderson and wife Gloria, and sister-in-law, Carolyn Anderson, all of Barnardsville; and several nieces and nephews.His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 2, 2012, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Rev. Larry Coates officiating. Burial will be in West Memorial Park.The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.At other times the family will be at the home of Hank and Gloria Anderson, 309 Paint Fork Rd., Barnardsville.For those who desire, condolences may be offered to the family under Mr. Anderson's obituary at www.WestFamilyFuneralServices.com.
