WILLIAMS Jerry Louis Williams, 54, passed away on Friday August 31, 2007 at his residence. He was born in Anniston, AL., and has lived in Jacksonville for the past 50 years. He was a member of Franklin Street Baptist Church, and the AFLCIO and served as president of the local union #450. His hobbies were he loved cars, NASCAR racing, fishing and camping with his family. He is preceded in death by his father, James Williams, brother, Kenneth Williams, sister, Pauline Mead. Survivors include his mother, Gracie Hall; wife of 36 years, Carol; son, Jerry Williams, Jr., (Amanda); daughters, Shelly Lynn Baker, (Brad), and Stacy Marie Stankiewicz (Rich) all of Jacksonville; brothers, Willis Williams of Pensacola, Jimmy and Bobby Williams of Jacksonville; sister, Christine Firmin of Jacksonville; mother and father in law, John and Doris Marden; brother in laws, Chris and John Marden; sister in law, Pat McFarland (Bill); grandchildren, Macy Lynn Williams, and Abigail Mae Williams; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday September 4, at 11AM in Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, with Rev. Richard Wimberly, Jr., officiating.
