Mr. Jerry Lee Anderson went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at the age of 63. He was a member of Spring Valley Holiness Church. He was born in Bay County, Fla, on September 25, 1946, to Alva and Lois Anderson. Jerry was an Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War from 1966-1968. Mr. Anderson leaves behind a loving wife of 39 years, Brenda Anderson; daughter Carmen Moon and husband, Wade. Jerry was blessed with two grandchildren, Avery and Gracie Moon; five sisters, Annette Munson, Charlotte Seley and husband McArthur, June Strickland and husband Jimmy, Peggy Kennedy and husband John, Jackie Bishop and fiance Skip; and six brothers, Adron Anderson and wife Leodis, Arthur Anderson and wife Joey, Marvin Anderson and wife Joyce, Roy Anderson and wife Marie, John Anderson and wife Jill and Tom Anderson and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Alva and Lois Anderson. Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, June 9, 2010 at Spring Valley Holiness Church with the Rev. Horace McCormack, the Rev. Rossie Bryant and the Rev. Edward Mike officiating, his final resting place will be at Ebro Cemetery. Pall bearers will be Allen Seley, Carl Seley, Tony Mike Strickland, Greg Anderson, Skip Roggenkamp, and Aulton Byrd. Brown Funeral Home of Chipley is in charge of the arrangements.
