Memorial service for Jerry G. Davis, 70, Flagler Beach, who passed away February 25, 2008, at Florida Hospital, Flagler, following a long illness, will be held Friday, February 29, at the Palm Coast Seventh Day Adventist Church. Condolences may be made to the family from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. and the memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Jerry was born in Taylorsville, N.C., and moved to Flagler Beach as a teenager. He was a U.S. Marine veteran and retired Director of Emergency Services for Flagler County. Jerry was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying Florida's hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Patricia; son, Richard Davis and his wife Ellen; daughter, Vicki Dawson and her husband William; four grandchildren, Arielle Dawson, Jared Dawson, BobbyAnn Davis, JamieLynn Davis; and one great-grandchild, Draven Dawson. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in honor of Jerry Davis to the Palm Coast Seventh Day Adventist Church Building Fund, 5650 Belle Terre, Palm Coast, FL 32137.
