<!-- FH = Gray Mortuary,Inc. - Pelzer, SC -->Jerry Gordon Davis, 70, of 186 Painter Road, husband of Jeanette Painter Davis, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late John Henry and Emmie Sue Banks Davis. He was retired from JHM Hotels, Inc. and a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a member of Augusta Road United Methodist Church and the South Greenville Masonic Lodge.Surviving are his wife of the home; daughter, Johnlyn Green and husband, Greg of Pelzer; sons, Jeremy Davis and wife, Caitlyn of Powdersville, Danny Miles of Simpsonville; grandchildren, Justin Brown and Jeremy Johnson; special nieces, Toni Lindley and husband, Paul, Stephanie Moses; special great nieces, Paula Brasfield and Keri Lindley.He was predeceased by a sister, Linda Riden and brother, John Henry Davis, Jr.The family is at the home and will receive friends 10-11 am Monday, January 3, 2011 at Augusta Road United Methodist Church. Funeral services will follow at 11am at the church.Burial will be held in Greenville Memorial Gardens.Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Augusta Road United Methodist Church Building Fund, 8324 Augusta Rd., Pelzer, SC 29669.Gray Mortuary, Pelzer is in charge of arrangements.Condolences:www.graymortuary.com
