Obituary of Jerry-D. Carter

NORTHPORT Jerry D. Carter, age 54, of Northport, died Nov. 8, 2007, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. today at Nelson Funeral Home Chapel with Kevin Beard officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Comfort Cemetery with Nelson Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be two hours prior to services at the funeral home.Survivors include his daughter, Christy Godsey (Waylon) of Jasper; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth and Carter Godsey.Pallbearers will be Ed Wilkinson, Chad Wilkinson, Dewayne Peters, Waylon Godsey, Gary Simpson, and John Merta.
