Jeremy Johnson Smith, 33 of Baldwinsville died Monday April 14, 2014 at Upstate hospital with his family by his side. Born in St. Petersburg, FL October 18, 1980, he graduated from Baker High School and continued on to complete a five year apprenticeship program for local plumber and steamfitter union, where he was employed by Ice Pro. He enjoyed snowmobiling, motorcycling, hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends. He leaves behind parents, Jeffrey and Annette Smith of Baldwinsville; two brothers, Ryan Smith of Syracuse and Cory Smith and fiancee, Megan Pedder of Baldwinsville; grandparents, Harry Phelps of Gouverneur, Diane Phelps and partner, Gilbert Gerber of Gouverneur, Ronald and Desdie Smith of Malory; and many uncles, aunts and cousins. Calling hours will be held Saturday, April 26, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a service to follow at Gates Funeral Home, Inc., 29 West Genesee Street, Baldwinsville, NY.
