Jennifer Born January 28, 1952, in Stillwater, NY, passed away peacefully in her home in Madison, Indiana, on October 13, 2002, after a long, brave fight with A.L.S. Through her struggles Jennifer continued to bring joy and humor to those around her. She was of strong composition and great character and will be missed by a host of family and friends. Jennifer is a wife survived by her husband Arthur Zook of Madison, Indiana; a mother survived by daughters Tammara Breen of Richmond, VA, Tiffany Voorhees of Greenville, NC, Stacey Voorhees and Dawn Buczek and son Matthew Voorhees, all of Watkins Glen, NY; a sister survived by siblings Pamela Brown of Fairfax, VT, David Brown of Euliss, TX, Christopher Brown of Spicewood, TX, Kathryn Frederick of Niskayuna, NY and Tina Naylor of Watkins Glen, NY; a daughter survived by her father Harold Brown of Scotia, NY; and a grandmother survived by grandchildren Liam, Braeden, Maryssa, Logan and Cole. She is predeceased by her beloved mother Beverly Brown of Troy, NY. Jennifer was an extremely active and spirited woman who loved hunting, fishing, flying airplanes, gardening and spending time vacationing near the ocean. Jennifer will be remembered as a person with a true appreciation and passion for simple beauty in this world such as wind blowing over autumn colored leaves or a humming bird gently hovering over one of her many feeders. Her wishes to be cremated have been honored and a service in her memory on a family farm at the home of Stanley and Maralyn Brown of Drury, Massachusetts remains to be planned. Family and friends will be invited. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jennifer's memory to either the A.L.S. Society or the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Her family would like to thank both of these organizations along with the Bon Secours Hospice of Richmond, VA, and the King's Daughters' Hospice of Madison, IN.
