OBITUARY Jeffrey Russel Williams 1931 - 2010 With great courage and strength Jeffery died peacefully on March 1, 2010. Most loved husband of Mary McEachran for over fifty years. Dear Dad to Kevin (Johanne) and Margot (Lee), and much loved Papa Jeff to Dominique, Chloe, David and Nichole. Brother of Fran and Russel Williams. Above all Jeffrey loved his family, children and grandchildren. He lived a full life and brought his good humour and helpful nature to all he knew and met. His friends were numerous and widespread and he successfully kept in touch with them over many years. His cheery positive attitude was his hallmark, helping him, and others, through difficult times. He will be missed by all who knew him, and particularly fondly remembered by his fellow squash players. Jeffrey loved all sports and excelled in many. He greatly enjoyed his many years of service as a volunteer in the Palliative Care Unit of the Montreal General Hospital. He will be remembered by all the staff as a cheerful dedicated man. The family wishes to thank this Unit and its remarkable staff and the Palliative Care Oncology Unit for their kindness, efficiency and compassionate care. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 8, 2010 at Mount Royal Funeral Complex, 1297 Chemin de la Foret, Outremont.
