Jeffrey John McKenna, 19, of Crestwood, died at his home at Sunday, August 31, 2003. He was a native of San-dusky, OH, an employee of Jeffries Construction Co. and on the Dean's List at Sullivan University in Louisville. He was a 2002 graduate of Oldham County High School in Buckner, KY, where he was a member of the football team, and a member of the Cathedral of the Assumption. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Kimberly Sue and Leonard Jeffries; his father, John F. McKenna; a brother, Jacob Matthew McKenna; a half-brother, John Jeffries; and his grandparents, Francis and Janis McKenna, Joel and Joyce Borden and Paul Gritton. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Elizabeth Gritton. His funeral Mass will be held at 10 am. Thursday at the Cathedral of the Assumption in Louisville, with burial in Valley of Rest Cemetery in LaGrange. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at Stoess Funeral Home in Crestwood. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jeffrey McKenna Scholarship Fund, in care of National City Bank.
