Jeffrey Alan Henry, 58, Seymour, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011, at Sloan-Kettering Memorial Cancer Center in New York.Born Dec. 31, 1952, in Seymour, he was the son of Earl C. Henry and Evelyn C. Jerrell Henry. On Nov. 10, 1990, he married Terri Davidson at Seymour First Church of the Nazarene, and she survives.Mr. Henry was a member of Seymour First Church of the Nazarene. He was a 1971 graduate of Seymour High School. He served in the U.S. Navy from October 1972 to December 1974. He was stationed on the USS Saratoga. He worked for Weyerhaeuser and retired from Exopack in Seymour. He and Terri owned and operated the Dairy Queen/Orange Julius in Seymour. He enjoyed watching football, especially the Indianapolis Colts, and spending time with his children.Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Briana Henry and Jordan Henry; his mother-in-law, Betty Burton; sisters-in-law, Star Gray (David), Rhonda Burden (Randy) and Bonnie Lowe; a niece, Tiffany Thurston (Chris); three nephews, Josh York, Justin York and Tyler Gray; a great-niece, Paisleigh Thurston; and a great-nephew, Jaiden York.He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Venus V. Henry; infant brother, Ricky Joe Henry; maternal grandparents, Harry and Lula Jerrell; paternal grandparents, Frank Henry and Irene Henry Hall; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.The Rev. Steve Greene will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Saturday at Seymour First Church of the Nazarene.
