SMITH, Jeannie W. 95, of Brandon passed away on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2012. Mrs. Smith was a local resident since 1957, after moving here from Kentucky. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and a retired school teacher who enjoyed sewing and reading. She is survived by her nephews, Joe E. Early, Walter B. Early, Richard H. Early; nieces, Canydbeth Ash, Sandy Davis, Marilyn Schwemberger, Shirley Decker, Joyce Gibbon, Mary Virginia Blank and many loved ones and friends. Preceding her in death are her husband Herbert; brothers, Joseph H. Early Jr., Thomas H. Early, Edward Coolidge Early; sisters, Cora Carmen Walker and Mary Elizabeth Disney. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012, at 11 am at Southside Baptist Church in Brandon. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
