Obituary of Jeannette Raymond


FRAMINGHAM Jeannette (Michaud) Raymond, 84, died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008, at St. Patricks Manor in Framingham after a long illness. Born in Millinocket, Maine, daughter of the late Wilfred and Delia (Caron) Michaud, she had been a longtime resident of New Britain, Conn. She was born a potato farmer and worked at various occupations before getting her G.E.D and real estate broker's license. She worked as a real estate broker for many years. She is survived by one son, Robert L. Raymond and his wife, Irene, of Deep River, Conn.; one daughter, Sandra M. Raymond and her husband, Patrick Hallisey, of Wayland; three brothers, Gerard Michaud of Connecticut, Donald Michaud of Maine and Robert Michaud of Alabama; three sisters, Juliette Pottelle of Maine, Yvette Dubois of Connecticut and Bernadette Peters of Florida; four grandchildren, Kimberly Halsey, Matthew Raymond, Genevieve Flynn and Marguerite Flynn; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Joan Michaud. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, Jan. 2, 2009, at 9:30 a.m., at the Holy Family Chapel of St. Patricks Manor, 863 Central St., Framingham. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will be take place at a later date in Maine. Memorial donations may be made to St. Patricks Manor, 863 Central St., Framingham, MA 01701. Arrangements are under the direction of the Eugene J. McCarthy and Sons Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St., Framingham, MA 01702.
