LEE, Jeannette (Jenny) –(nee Wheeler, Scambler)August 30, 1932 - September 16, 2013It is with heavy hearts that we announce Jenny passed away on September 16, 2013. She leaves a loving family, husband Gord of 58 years, daughters Linda Osborne (Jim), Sharon Watkins (Glen), and son Tom Lee (Laurie), grandchildren, Cody (Lisa), Erica, Jaime, Gavin and great grandchildren Riel, Ethan and Liam. Jenny also leaves siblings Marilyn Trickett and Bernard Wheeler Jr. of Courtenay and Bernice (Warren) Evans of Burnaby. Predeceased by Beryl Smedley, Delta and Roy Wheeler, Chilliwack. For the last 18 years she resided at Sullivan Mews with husband Gord, where she enjoyed the people and activities and she thought how lucky she was to find such a great place for their retirement. There will be no funeral per her request. If you wish, donations can be made to the Surrey Memorial Foundation. Although her stay at the hospital was very short, the outstanding care and compassion shown by Dr. Ip, Dr. Joshi and nurses Carolyn, Inder and Polly of the palliative care were greatly appreciated. Jenny was a very caring wife, mom, grandma and great-grandma. She will always be with us in our hearts.
