DAIGLE, JEANNETTE - At the Edmundston Regional Hospital, February 15, 2003, Mrs. Jeannette Daigle of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 79 years. She was the wife of Everard Daigle. Born at Drummond in 1923, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Laura (Cyr) Dionne. Mrs. Daigle was a member of the Grand Falls Golden Age Club and of the "Université du Troisième Âge du Nord-Ouest (UTANO)". She was also a member of the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Grand Falls General Hospital. She was predeceased by one sister, Blanche Grondin and four brothers, Antonio, Fortunat, Sylvio and Jean-Baptiste Dionne. Besides her husband, she is survived by five daughters, Marie-Therese O’Sullivan (Timothy) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Francine Daigle of Toronto, Gisele Daigle-Michaud (Gilles) of Grand Falls, Annette Bourgoin (Denis) of Saint-Leonard and Anne Daigle-Gatchell (Greg) of Bridgewater, N.S., five grandchildren, Pierre, Eric, Emelie, Nathalie and William, one brother, Armand Dionne (Leola) of Drummond, as well as nieces and nephews. Resting at O’Regan’s Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. Her funeral will be held Wednesday, February 19th at 4 p.m. from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls. Interment will be in the Assumption cemetery.
