WAYNESBORO, Ga. - Mrs. Jeanne Jarvis Williams, 83, passed away Monday, March 18, 2013 at Doctor's Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. She was a native of Hazlehurst, Georgia and shared residences in Waynesboro and Darien, Georgia. Mrs. Williams was a graduate of Waynesboro High School and Wesleyan Conservatory of Fine Arts. She was member of the First Presbyterian Church of Darien, and a devout Bulldog, Braves and Falcons fan. Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Lee Williams, her children: Karen Freed-Williams (Marcie), Becky Williams Benson (Marsh), Laura Williams Angel, and Thomas Williams (Lisa); her grandchildren, Casey Benson Maslanka (Nick), Scott Benson (Rachael), Tinsley Martin, Rebecca Martin, Nicole Freed-Williams, Kaitlin Freed-Williams, Miles Williams and Devin Williams and many nephews and nieces. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 20, 2013 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Joiner- Anderson-Saxon-Prescott Funeral Home, Waynesboro, Georgia. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013 in the chapel of Joiner-Anderson-Saxon- Prescott Funeral Home, with Pastor Danny Grace and the Reverend Jim Knight officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Waynesboro, Georgia. Pallbearers will be: Scott Benson, Nick Maslanka, Cleve Mobley, Warren Mobley, Clay Brinson and Larry Brinson. Honorary Pallbearers will be the BI-LO Coffee Club. Mrs. Williams loved her Lord and Savior, her family, the Georgia coast and her dog, Patches.
