December 25, 2008 Mrs. Jeanne Frances Gardner Jordan, 82, of Newnan, GA, died at Southwest Christian Care on December 25, 2008. She was born in Syracuse, New York, on February 10, 1926, to the late Harry L. Gardner and Ruth Franklin Gardner. She was in sales and audit with Badcocks and Wilcox. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a grandson, Justin Jordan of Newnan, GA, and two brothers, Harold Gardner and Merle Gradner of New York. Surviving are her sons, Curtis Jordan and his wife Angela of Newnan, GA, and Doug Jordan and his wife Chris of Newnan, GA; daughter, Sherry Pitts and her husband William of Lavonia, GA; brother, Willard Gardner and his wife Mary of LaFayette, NY; grandchildren, Cristin Jordan, Joshua Jordan, Brandon Jordan, Darrell McKib-bon and his wife Lisa, Robert Pitts and his wife Sinead, Jonathan Pitts and Joseph Pitts; four great-grandchil-dren; and many, many nieces and nephews. John Riley officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until service time. An interment service will follow in the spring of 2009 in LaFayette, NY.
