May 21, 2007 Jeanne D. Garvey, 83, of Syracuse, a dedicated Navy wife of Edward W. Garvey of 63 years, devoted mother and grandmother, passed away Monday at James Square. Jeanne's life passion was her family and her husband. She was a loyalNavy wife and spent a large part of her life traveling with her Navy husband, Edward W. Garvey who predeceased her in January 2007. She is survived by her daughters, Peggy Garvey-Miner, Pat Mathews, Barbara Aldridge and Debbie Garvey; her son, Edward R. Garvey; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be held on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at New Comer Family Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, 705 N.
