Mrs. Jeanne Williams Ayers, 84, died Saturday, May 24, 2014. Born in Talladega, Ala., she was a daughter of the late Ramey Carl and Ola Finch McWilliams. She was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are her children, Debra Hodges (Gene), Holly Watson, Timothy Williams, all of Columbia; grandchildren, Sterling Watson, Ramy Williams, Noé Williams, Jes Watson, Jason Williams, Zach Hodges, all of Columbia; Josh Hodges of Augusta, Ga.; sister, Lillian Bowman of Talladega; brothers, Roland McWilliams, Troy McWilliams, Kenneth McWilliams, all of Birmingham, Ala. She was predeceased by her first husband, Jackson B. Williams; her second husband, Leland Ayers; four brothers; one sister; and a daughter-in-law, Patti Williams. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday June 1, 2014, at Usrey-Brown Service Funeral Home, Talladega, Ala. Burial will be in Pine Hill Memorial Park in Talladega.
