Jeanette Ora Smith, 82, of Tequesta, died Tuesday, Aug. 23 in Jupiter Medical Center. She was born in Campbell, Mo., and lived in Tequesta for 22 years, moving from Hialeah. Survivors include a son, Donald Hargrove of Jupiter; two daughters, Johnna Engstrom and Jane E. Hayes, both of Jupiter; a sister, Nikki Bennett of Tequesta; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Beverly Smith, in 1993, and her husband, John B. Smith in 1995. A cryptside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, at Riverside Memorial Park, Tequesta. The Rev. Steve Stewart will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home of Jupiter.
