Jeanette H. Smith, 83, of Beverly Hills, Fla., passed away on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012, peacefully at home. She was born in Lexington, N.C., Jan. 26, 1929, and moved to Beverly Hills 30 years ago from Atlanta, Ga. Jeanette was an accountant by trade and a champion world-class bridge player. She was also a member of Beverly Hills Community Church. Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Hershel (1995), a sister-in-law, Notie Faye Huneycutt, and her best friend, Dottie Smith. She is survived by her brother, Willis Huneycutt, and her dog, Angel. A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, at Fero Funeral Home, 5955 N. Lecanto Hwy., Beverly Hills, FL 34465 with family and friends to gather one hour prior to service.
