TUSCALOOSA Jeanette Hayes Taylor Goodwin, age 69, of Tuscaloosa, died March 4, 2008, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Shiloh Baptist Church with Bro. Edwin King officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.She was preceded in death by her husband, James Albert Taylor; her parents, Jewel and Ollie Hayes; her brother, John Starling Hayes; and two sisters, Frances Jones and Sharon Hutchins.Survivors include her husband, David Earl Goodwin; her daughter, Tina Marie Glenn (Franklin) of Pleasant Ridge; her son, Tommy James Taylor (Joni) of Jacksonville, Fla.; her step-daughter, Melissa Goodwin Hicks (Kenny) of Centreville; her sister, Gloria Bates Griffin of Gallion; her grandchildren, Sabrina Sims (Michael Maughan) of Hueytown, Leigh Anne Gregory (Josh) of Gordo, and Joshua James Taylor (Khamesha) of Moundville; and her great grandchildren, Brooklyn Sims, Preston, Ali Paige, and Ace Gregory, and Niya Morrow.Pallbearers will be Joshua Gregory, Michael Maughan, William Glenn, Ronnie Pugh, Ronnie Harless, and Scott Barton.Honorary pallbearers are DCH MICU Staff, Dr. Jeanne Lipscomb, Dr. David Harding, Ronnie Taylor, Don Kirkland, Jimmy Pryor, Jimmy Cooper, Hoyt and Shirley Hester, Cheryl Parker, Ginger Lowery, friends at Clara Verner Towers and Presbyterian Apartments.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Gideons.
